General Housing Corporation is a Michigan modular home manufacturer offering homes and additions ranging from 392 to over 2,900 square feet. Sometimes referred to as “off-site” construction, our homes and buildings meet the same stringent Michigan building codes as “site built” structures. We construct the homes and buildings at our Bay City, Michigan facility, and partner with licensed builders throughout the state of Michigan to provide you with a local contractor to manage your project. We offer hundreds of professionally designed floor plans, and will custom build to your desires. Whether you’re looking to build a new home, an addition, a multi-family development or a light commercial property, we offer a better building option.
Our structures are built within our weather-protected facility by experienced craftsmen and are transported to your site for completion and finishing by your local, GHC-authorized, licensed builder. This building system yields consistent, high quality structures in significantly less time than the site built option. Our off-site methods reduce waste going to our landfills, while providing an extremely square and solid structure. Materials are protected from the elements, unlike the site built option where materials are exposed to sun, rain, snow, wind and theft.
GHC has been building homes and light commercial structures in the sate of Michigan since 1982, with approximately 6,000 structures throughout the state. We are extremely proud of the craftsmanship we build into our homes and welcome the opportunity to build your new home or building. Please give us a call or email to discuss your building project.
