1-1/2 Story

We offer a range of modular home layouts for 1-1/2 story homes (also known as cape cods), all of which have 12/12 pitch roofs. These are unique from 2-story homes in the way the roof pitch extends all the way to the first floor, limiting the upstairs foot print, but creating a very appealing look. This is a popular style of home if your land is located on water or has a view.

One of the advantages of a 1-1/2 story home is that more living space can be provided in relationship to the foundation footprint and roof area. Making your home unique to your taste can be obtained through numerous options including various dormer choices, adding even more square footage, and porch options. Interiors can be dramatic with high vaults and large window collections.
