Description
Gable end floor blocking, or bracing, is installed to strengthen the gable end walls, preventing them from collapsing during high winds, and to minimize wind damage and water intrusion.
This option includes 2×6 blocks installed evenly 12″ off-center from the corner even with the bottom of the 2×10 floor joist/floor truss.
