While similar to a vaulted ceiling or a TRU-Vault ceiling, the scissor vault makes its mark by creating a unique and angular look at the intersection point of the ceiling planes. This look is not quite as pronounced as a TRU-Vault or vaulted ceiling would be, but it is a way to give more head room to a space while not having to heat or condition (as much) square footage that you don’t use.
